I got started out using Rebirth and shortly after with Reason. I have a lot of crappy music I made with it. Might have to post some of it here. It’s funny how much I didn’t know until I started using hardware. I imagine if I went back to Reason now, I would be much more savvy with it’s features / workflow.

Maybe we should have a “Post your old crappy tunes thread” Though many of my new tunes are still crappy hah

That’s why I’m selling this E-MU MP7 Command Station I just picked up. It has way too much going on I feel. My tiny brain can’t seem to gel with it’s work flow.

Haha! And Award for to most cringe beat - I feel like I could def play to win! :grimacing: A lot of my old beats are gone in that they were on tape or cd-r or just don’t work in newer versions of software. I was into Jeskola Buzz for a while when it was part of FL Studio. Got some super cringe out of that but man was it fun and crashed a lot and opened up the idea of modular waaaay back in the day.

Man, when I started music making, I was teen and obsessed by rave party in the mountain and drugs. I made some worst hardteck track ever on fruity loops, monitored on logitech 5€ speaker. It’s absolutly unlistenable.
Then with my first microQ rack (I dreamed of Virus C but too expensive), I was gothic and tried kind of dark electro indus on ubuntu studio. That was worst.

Today, grab a Model:Sample for 200€ (or M:C) on the market and go to rave party.
Grab a Digitakt for 500€ and make anything you like without being sound engineer.

And it will sound good
