With the sine waves I got a little creative and didn’t double up all the waves.

If you have any suggestions just let me know. I’ll do more eventually. When I do, I’ll bump the thread. I’ll just keep adding to the Dropbox folder.

When I have the time, I am going to do a couple chains using NI Monark.
The sound of the “load” circuit, the osc feedback, and the 3 oscs mixed never lets me down. It will be interesting to hear Rytm’s analog circuitry on top of it.

I’ll post them here. I’ll also be doing some general sample (non single cycle waveform) chains with various instruments. I have a boatload of old Machinedrum samples that can easily be split into 15 hits per chain. Also, Chris Randall demo Audio Damage gave away some eurorack modular drum sounds he designed for Maschine, that I could chain. I’ll confirm with him for permission.

Also, have you experimented with taking pre-existing Octatrack sample chains, and trimming off the last two hits to make it conform to the Rytm a bit better? I may give that a go. It would be nice to breathe more life into some of the publicly shared OT chains.

The pre existing OT wave chains were my inspiration but I bet they would hard to get get just right. I really think have waves doubled up helps a lot. If you get good results on scwf please post them. I’ve done synth/sample chains as well. While 15 should work, I used 12 or 20 and 30 personally and they have given me good results so far.

I could try other waves later but I will still be making dozens more of these akwf. If you have numerous waves that are all the same length from the beginning to end, it’s easy to make chains.

Btw, anybody know how to recalibrate a??

This is a really cool idea, but it is such a shame that you can only have 1 destination per LFO, unlike the A4 where you can have 2.
If you could modulate both the start and end point with a single LFO, you could effectively sweep through a wavetable.

Note that these are the shortest 15 samples from the 2 packs he created, combined.
I’ll do the longest samples in a seperate chain.

You can certainly get similar sounds with the Rytm’s machines. I like havin these as samples for layering with those machines without losing voices. Very thick sounds.

Listen, I’m trying to decide if I should calibrate or not so could you tell me if you’re getting clicks. Like if the attack is fast and decay and release are turned very low, if you play just one sample in chromatic quickly one after the other do you sometimes get a click or pop?

Yes, I get some clicks with your waves. But it is not bothering me because I rarely use fast attack settings

Are you making them with Logic, or Ableton Live?

I was doing mine in a Live, and at first had some clicks, then they got much better when i turned off the Clip Fade settings which are on by default.

My WaldorfPulse/Minimoog chain doesn’t give me any noticeable clicks, and the waves zero into each other, so I can get some interesting wavetabley stuff going with longer spaces between start/stop.

i d like to make chains too some piano chords would be nice, i ll try to make a chain with all minor and another with major chords, i thought to sequence ableton’s grand piano in midi to have same lenghth and velocity and record the audio result, would it works?

Not sure if it’s the right topic for this. Someone said that single cycle waveforms should be on loop. How do I disable loop wen I am punching in trig notes? The loops goes on infinite regardless of trigs.
