Was this behaviour always there?

I’ve been getting back into it. A couple observations:

Adding slide trigs across the pattern in advance is good for approximating the live tweaking (kind of defeas the stepped/quantised effect that makes the recording sound so different from the ‘performance’)

I wish there was a setting to prevent slides having an effect on pitch parameter, because the above tip can’t be used with chromatic melodies unless you’re happy with slides between every note!

I realised that tweaking Machinedrum, a few weeks ago, placing slide trigs each 2 step.

No workaround I guess.
Just to remind a trick, if you press FN+Trigs in chromatic mode, you get Trigless Trigs, modifying pitch without retrigging the sample.

You didn’t know the FN+Chromatic mode thing ?
Funny as I you told me about flashing trigs I didn’t noticed before…

a quick thought re/ putting slide trigs on all trigs for the smooth groove with the funky parameter sweep:

  • how about on every odd trig; skipping the even trigs might make for some slightly different sound vibes from the realtime parameter tweak recording.
