Waldorf Iridium or wait for NAMM

Recently had a Iridium with a screen problem, returned it for a refund due to white screen of death.

But… I miss it. I’ve kinda decided to hold out for NAMM before I dive into anything else, but the rumors are that… It’s gonna be a really lame NAMM and I’ll probably just end up back with the iridium.

What do you friends think? Hold out or go for it?

If you miss it and know you want to use it, then a new product announcement isn’t going to change that. It might distract you, but if the Iridium inspires you, why go without it on the off chance that something new might come along.

I don’t think new instruments/electronic music devices are automatically better than old ones at this point. Even phone and laptop progress seems to have slowed in the past decade. The Iridium is pretty amazing - and the Quantum even more so.
