For jaming I also use Zoom MS70CDR and Soundcraft mtk12 onboard one, but in ableton Raum has become my first choice. I was considering getting EHX Cathedral but I am not sure I will.

Last year I picked up a TC Electronic M3000 Reverb and It’s absolutely stunning. The algorithms are deep but much more natural sounding.

Raum is baffling to be honest.
Was in the market for a HW reverb effect but will wait now…

Valhalla VintageVerb is my favourite all-round reverb. The reverb patches in Valhalla Delay are excellent as well. I have Raum - got it when it was free and funnily enough I used it last night for the first time in ages and really liked it.

In terms of modern reverb hardware I think it’s hard to beat Source Audio Ventris or their Collider delay/reverb combo. Or the Eventide H9.

I also coincidentally dialled up Raum tonight Finally and was really impressed.

In hardware land, an Eventide H9 running Space algorithms is what I use. Stellar sounds, just beautiful. I bought an MS70CDR but it wasn’t as inspiring as I thought it would be, so might be looking to sell it. Nowhere near as nice as Eventide, Strymon, Raum, etc.

Ventris reverb is beautiful. Really floaty and gentle.
Lexicon PCM81 multi effects has some beautiful reverb algorithms that don’t sound as lush as the Source Audio Ventris but, stick the Lexicon PCM81 amongst other sounds in a mix, it really shines through.
Software wise… Like most people Valhalla Vintage Reverb is beautiful and well priced.

They’re what I’ve been using for the last 1 - 2 years without any need to look elsewhere.
