The volume knob on my octatrack stopped working. The only reason I can think of as to why this might be happening is that I have track 8 set as a master track. If this is indeed the cause of the main volume knob to cease operating is there a way to link it back up to my master volume as I’d prefer to use the main volume knob for volume.

The volume knob only affects headphone output.

Main vol controls the headphone out as the OT is designed with mixing in mind. To control the main out hold function & Vol. Alternatively use the level control on Track 8 if you’re using it as a master track.
