Volume knob not working

I just got my OT yesterday but haven’t had the chance the get into it properly yet…

The first thing I noticed was that the volume knob had no effect at all when I turned it. I had to adjust volume from my audio interface.
It must have something to do with how the audio outputs are set up right? Seems really weird that this is the OTs default setting.

Also is demo mode something you have to turn off, if so, how do I do that?

Sorry for the dumb questions. I would refer to the manual but I’m at work.

The volume knob does the volume for the headphone output.

Press mixer ( above function and Cue button) which brings up the mixer menu. Knob A does the main output

Ahhh thanks very much for the quick reply. I’ll try that out as soon as I get home.

You can hold [FUNCTION] and turn the LEVEL knob in order to adjust the volume from the main outputs.

Just reboot the OT without holding down any buttons.

Demo mode is made for people to play around with the OT in music stores without messing up the state of the machine.

Correction to PeterHanes post above:

Demo Mode is active until you insert a Compact Flash card. Its purpose is for i e music stores, for their customers possibility to try out the OT without a CF card.
