VOLNA ... Russian Electro, Space theme

Hey guys…
After a year of working on these tracks…
here’s my latest output:

Rusuden - VOLNA
http://music.rusuden.com/album/volna

Setup for this album:
TR-808, Matrix 1000, SH-101, SH-2, Monomachine, Slim Phatty and Blofeld.

Awesome, making my way through it and enjoying. Nice analog sounds. What did you use to sequence it all?

This sounds really good.

This is great - got that whole Dopplereffeckt / Dynarec type thing going on - will be grabbing this imminently. Really nicely produced too. Top work dude. :+1:

Thanks guys!

well, tracks 1-6 were sequenced using a few different methods…
The main one: Ableton.
Either the arps or just straight writing in the piano roll using a midi keyboard.

Also used the MonoMachine Midi Machines too…
(as well as the MnM internal sounds, of course)

A really super awesome software VST/AU sequencer is Thesys.
It was used from time to time, as well…

I can’t remember how much I used Numerology this time around…
but it’s always open when I’m making tracks.
Tons of fun, and lots of happy accidental stuff to find.

Track 7 is just free-form madness…
A lot of the time I just had the synths play themselves using the LFOs…
(synths here: PerFourMer, Nord Lead 2X, Roland SH-5, Twisted Tools Scapes)

Track 8 is just the oddball… It was all made with an iPad on 3 different airplanes during 1 trip overseas. I used AudioBus and routed Thesys to Nave or Animoog, and then played one of those live on top. Simple stuff… but otherworldly when stitched together, I think.
