Vinyl crackle & tape effect

Hi,
I read that with MD is possible to get vinyl crackle
sound - also find old tutorial for get this but possible that i missed something every time…if someone have preview of that i be very glad to hear it…
Also i’m interesting to simulate tape effect - any idea?

I’ve came close to vinyl crackle with the GND IM Module, lowering down ‘up’ + ‘uval’ and setting ‘down’ to max + setting ‘dval’ little bit up. Then filter adjustments . I’ve assigned the lfo to the ‘down’ param and put a random wave on it.

Maybe this could be a good starting point

i see you found an old tutorial … if it wasn’t this one then try that too

that tutorial assumes you have a uw model. if you do, then you might just grab a vinyl sample; there’s a group of them in the files section on the old forum.

what kind of tape effects do you mean? analog tape hiss?

Jep, i have uw version and also grab a sample and put it and tweak with lfo’s but also wanted to try with sintesis…

I’ve had some nice luck getting vinyl emulation with the MD using LFO routing.

non sequitur… the OP-1 in tombala sequencer mode is great for crackle
