I run a late 2012 Mac mini, I can’t upgrade this due to sound card being an RME Fireface 400, need the FW ports, it has 16Gb & 4Tb storage running Mojave.
I’ve tried Catalina, couldn’t get anything working at all.
the only stable configuration I’ve found is;
Logic 10.4
Analog 4 os 1.51C
Overbridge 2.0.65.2
everything works flawlessly in Overbridge, ecstatically happy etc.
when I swap out the A4 for a Digitakt running 1.40B the device is seen in the engine,
audio comes in on the Control Panel, plug in can be activated in Logic but then
I get that error in OB;
‘The paired device has an incompatible OS version! Please shut down your DAW and update Overbridge suite to a later version’
gotta say, not being able to download old os from Elecktron is really making this all a massive headache.
prepare to try any of the hive mind suggestions as I feel like I’ve exhausted everything

This may or may not help, and… DISCLAIMER DISCLAIMER DISCLAIMER… hehehe - but, the last version of macOS which properly supports Firewire audio devices without hacking around (installing firewire support from an older OS into a newer one, and all the required hoops to jump through) is Monterey. Monterey is not natively supported on your Mac mini, but there is a project Open Core Legacy Patcher which is essentially two parts: firstly a boot loader which tells Apple’s installer it’s a supported model, and secondly some post-install patches to add back hardware support for older machines. I run Monterey on a 2012 Mac mini as a server at home, and Sequoia on my 15-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro. (Sequoia really likes a propper GPU, slugish with integrated).
So this isn’t a direct answer to your question, except that you may be able to run newer OSes if needed. I hope you have an SSD in that Mac mini, will be slow otherwise from Mojave onwards due to Apple switching to APFS, which is a better file system, but it’s designed for SSD’s so it’s painful on spinning hard drives.
