Not at all, the invite link for macOS (Sonoma minimum) is Join the Verkbench beta - TestFlight - Apple
The version currently available in TestFlight is behind on bug fixes as reported above, I’m hoping Apple will release the pending version soon, the next beta version is almost ready to test.
iPadOS is almost ready to go to TestFlight, trying to get the last few things working on iOS 16 before that goes out, really trying to keep my oldest iPad Pro supported.
There’s so much already in the Tonverk, as a new user to it you may not even feel the need to create your own multisamples for a few weeks at least
edit: oh, and 4 years since last Elektronauts post - welcome back to the forum!!

Grand! Thank you.
Yes, I’m aware that TV is rather deep… but I have a modular rack with a few modules I am keen to multisample for polyphonic fun.
Glad to be back here doing more than lurking

Sorry to maybe disappoint, but currently there is no hardware sampling in Verkbench, I didn’t want to duplicate what the hardware can already do (not until I can do it with lower latency), and only virtual instruments get the benefit of faster than realtime offline sampling.
You can open a multi sample that has been created on the hardware, and Verkbench will split that single audio file out into individual samples for trimming, normalization, or any other editing needed, then let you save it off as a new multi preset.
No disappointment - happy to use the hardware to sample hardware!

Was just trying Generate as a plugin, and for some reason I’m unable to select presets. I think it’s an AU rather than VST3 - at least that’s what shows up inside Ableton, in case that’s relevant.
Some AU’s don’t like being scaled, you can “pop it out” into its own macOS window and that should fix the input issue. I’m considering getting rid of the scaling and putting the plugins in scrolling containers instead with prominent scroll handles.
