Using the sequencer as an ARP

Just got this idea. Don’t know if it’s possible.

On my DSI Pro 2, the sequencer can be used as an Arp. Meaning that if I program a sequence and press a nite. The sequence will be played with that note as the root. If I press another note the sequence will start from scratch and use that note as a root (transpose the sequence based on what note you press).

Is this possible on the A4? I know that I can transpose the keyboard live by pressing the transpose button, but that’s not the same as the retriggering concept on the Pro 2.

Not exactly as you described, but the arp itself has an “internal sequencer” of it’s own, which can do what you described. It’s called offset. It’s limited to 16 steps though.
