Using Overbridge to Hack W10 Aggregate Audio I/O

Hey everyone,

Straight to the point: Is there any catches with using Overbridge2 and Elektron device inputs as expanded audio interface inputs?

Feel like I might be late to the party here. Last night while using Overbridge I realized that I could record my Audio Ins on my Elektrons separately and stream this input to my DAW via USB on a W10 machine. This is a big deal to me as I have maxed out my Scarlett 18i20 inputs and cannot expand without sacrificing my ADAT which runs Expert Sleepers HW. As some of you may know W10 does not support aggregate audio devices meaning I can’t just tack on another sound card for more i/o without something half-assed like ASIO4ALL.

Back to my main question, is there any reason why I wouldn’t want to use OB2 to workaround W10’s aggregate audio device limitation and expand my inputs for recording into the DAW as separate channels for recording and processing?

Kinda works but when i tried (quite a while ago) i couldnt get the sync between the 2 quite right:
