Using Overbridge as an editor only?

Hey all

I’m wondering what the practicalities of using OB as just an editor only? In other words, I would like to use it as a graphical manager to make sounds, manage the Soundpool, samples etc. but not as an audio pipe into my DAW.

Would it be as simple as enabling Overbridge on the device but plug the audio outs into my mixer? By doing this, will I still have the latency associated with OB within my DAW?

I love the editors and find them really useful.

You can mute the OB plugin and use your mixer but, yes, you currently have to deal with the latency.

Dang it. Thanks for the heads up - was going to do a rewire over the weekend but you’ve saved me! :+1:
