Using OT as a selector (selecta)

Hi,

I’m not a dj, just select tracks for the people.

Last night I’ve configured the Octa and it works well.
Crossfade acts as a crossfader, and I can listen the next tracks in the headphones with the cue.

My problem is that i have to trig the track to ear it in headphones, but how could I stop it playing without using the stop button that stops everything ?

I just want to be able to ear a track, stop it to choose another, without stoping the track that’s playing thru the main outs.

Press Track (T!, T2, T3 etc) + Play to start and Track + Stop to well…stop.

If you’re beat matching the playing track and can trigger right on the beat fine, otherwise set your launch quantize to say 1 bar (16/16)

Track (T1 etc) + Bank/Edit to open the sample edit menu

Then Press Effect 1 and scroll down till you see Quantized Trig. Adjust to taste.
