Use USB-C PowerBank to power Elekton devices

I’m located in Iceland, and the only powerbanks available here are USB and USB-C, nothing with dedicated 12V barrel connectors.

I was thinking about using a USB-C trigger board to get 12V from a standard USB-C powerbank to power my Elektron devices, by using something like this:

but this solution is a bit DIY, and I would rather just buy something more sturdy with which has USB-C and barrel connectors, and a simple voltage selector.

Has anyone been able to use USB-C to power their Elektron devices?

Any better solutions than the trigger that I linked above?

Am I on the right track?

Oh and I would like to add, that due to shipping restrictions, then it’s almost impossible for an individual to import batteries to my country. So I can’t really buy any of the battery solutions that have been suggested in this forum in other posts.

Thanks for starting this thread, as it is rather specific thanks to USB-C’s higher voltage capabilities.

I am also curious if anyone has gone this USB-C converter route, and eager to hear their findings.

This sounds like areally versatile solution since with this module that I linked, one can get any of the following voltages from a single USB-C powerbank: 5, 9, 12, 15, 20 volts.

But only one voltage at a time of course.

So one could essentially power almost any synth with this, given that it fits within this voltage range.

But a solution that is not as much DIY would be even better, something that doesn’t need soldering or fondling with wires.
