Make sure that “Send MIDI” is enabled for both the FX and CV tracks. This had me stumped when I was first trying to set up sequencing of external gear (because the option is not in the MIDI setup menu). I don’t have my A4 with me right now but think this option was in either the ‘track’ or ‘notes’ menu. When you set this up you’ll need to do it for each track separately.
