I’m looking to add more effects to my sound chain. I wondered if people use a DAW as an effects rack? My Digitakt goes into my A4. I assume/hope I could use Overbridge to send this to a DAW to add effects as the end of the chain. Does anyone do this?
I’m moving house currently so can’t try, stuff is packed. If it’s not a viable solution I’ll buy a Zoia or similar but would be fun to try.
…if u wanna use a daw to expand ur realtime fx pallette…it’s not about the daw in first place…
it’s all about latency…so ur cpu and ur interface are first to check…
and bitwig is the way more slim lined, cpu friendly and versatile daw if it comes to realtime response and sky is the limit options to design ur own fx colours and chains…
it’s truuly modular approach full on, down to every detail u can think of…
Yep totally possible, as long as you’re using OB latency shouldn’t be an issue (after a bit of initial setup). I do this all the time with Ableton not entirely sure about Bitwig though.
