USB MIDI In SYSEX messages passed to Thru port?

Hello,

I am attempting to load DX7 patches into my Volca FM from my macbook with Dexed, essentially using the Digitakt as my MIDI interface. Dexed is connected to the Digitakt via USB MIDI, and set to the channel my Volca FM is listening on. Then I have my FM connected to the MIDI Thru port on the Digitakt. But it doesnt seem to be working. Does USB MIDI get passed, or only data that comes through the MIDI In port?

THRU only passes the DIN MIDI IN, not the USB.

Did you get the it to work using the Digitakt as an interface to send patches to Volca FM?
