I just recently got ahold of a mackie fx16v2 mixer. It connects to my laptop with usb and becomes a glorified sound card. It does not have midi connections. I have an oxygen 8 keyboard, MPC2000, Behringer k2. I have everything set up right now as my mpc being the master sequencer. If I want to set up reaper as the master how do I set up midi? I was using a focusrite sound card that had midi in/out that I could control everything with. But since I’m using the mixer now for more audio channels and being able to use the 8 outs on the mpc. How do I midi sync/control from tue laptop? Do I need a midi interface to add to all of this?
