USB C / Thunderbolt 4 Hubs for Overbridge

Hello everyone,

Couldn’t find a topic here

but obviously the newer macs all use USB-C

I’m wondering if there is a hub everyone here uses that is good / better than the overhub as I would like to also connect other devices (perhaps with USB 3.2 gen 2 + thunderbolt 4 speeds) as well as the elektrons

also, in general, is MTT a concern with USB-C/ 3.2. gen 2 / TB4?

any info is appreciated

cheers everyone

I just use an Elektron Overhub, with a USB C to USB Micro-B cable like this:

I use a few USB hubs, including an Overhub, connected to a Kensington SD5700T. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KRTKX9V/

You could have a look at this thread: Powered Docking station or Dongle for MacBook Air - #13 by koam

It helped me buying a second hand powered usb-dock (OWC Thunderbolt dock 3) that I’m very happy with. It powers my MacBook Air and has a bunch of usb-A and USB-C ports.

(I started with having a look at the overview of the different OWC products on their website and then looked which I could find on our Dutch Craigslist)
