Inspiration comes from everywhere. Any excuse is good if it serves you to develop new ideas, new melodies and new structures…This happens in all the arts, not only in music.
Starting from something not very musical, like a few ball bouncing against the walls of the screen, with notes generated randomly, a pattern is generated… And this changing pattern leads to another idea, and in turn to another. And when you realize, you almost have a new song. These are experiments that are done for the simple pretext to prove new things and enjoy making music.
I have used the Rebound script for Monome Norms from enneff. I also used the Boards of Deluge sound pack for my Synthstrom Deluge.
