Hello,

I am successfully sending a file to the AR with C6, it saves to a file called ‘0’, the next file I send doesn’t create a new file but saves on top of ‘0’.
I couldn’t find this issue addressed in another thread, apologies if it is or if the answer is obvious.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Ugh, the thing about SDS handshakes was right there in the manual. But I enable those and it doesn’t work at all. So I disable them it still doesn’t work. I’m worse off than I was before.
I re-boot re-start everything and it’s still not sending anything. I give up.

Now it’s working fine, with the handshake! Maybe my usb cable was loose.

Question: is there a way to delete this embarrassing thread?

Don’t worry … don’t be embarrassed … :+1:

This AR upload method is quite “classic” … and sometimes it’s only the cable connection that causes problems.

I think, many people have been through this already

Ok, I don’t feel quite so foolish, thanks.
“Classic” is a nice way of putting it!

Yea, the C6 stuff is a bit silly at times.

I was having issues with it the other day. Just wouldn’t send the data although it kept saying it had.

I fought and fought with it.

In the end what seemed to fix it was to alter the configuration, save it, then set the configuration back to what it was before and save again - all of the sudden it worked.

Maybe that’s how you got yours to work.

P.s. if it were a loose cable the computer would most likely not recognize that there is a device and C6 would of complained when you opened it.

Yeah, the loose cable hypothesis didn’t seem likely as c6 found the AR as a midi out. But I was quite baffled and the cable did seem a little loose at the AR end.
Your experience does sound very similar though so if it happens again I’ll try re-resetting and restarting. Thanks.
Maybe it won’t happen again. Fingers x’ed.
