Unloading unsued samples in the DT

Hello,

I was doing some searching on how to unload unused samples in my DT.
The serach came up with some very old forum posts and after digging for a little while I thought i’d ask.

A few notes:

  1. I am running the latest beta firmware on my DT
  2. I am running Overbridge and my DT is in Overbridge mode
  3. I can load up the Digitakt App and it connects and runs

So, what was not clear is any way to know if a sample is being used by any of the patterns and/or how I would unload the unused patterns.

Any help or ideas here would be greatly appreciated.

Or heck, the above plus a pointer to how to better use the Sounds library as a way to extend my number of sound options beyond the traditional sample set limit. (although even when I go use this part, I would still need to know how to clean out the unused samples)

Thanks,
Brett

There is no easy way to do this at the moment…
they are working on the transfer app which will hopefully add this functionality…

There is the “elk-herd” app made by a user that is good for organising projects that is worth looking up on here

Thank you both for the information.

I love the hardware - but their software … well I look forward to when it matches the level of the hardware.

I did go to the website for the tool, but it gives me a MIDI error I cannot dismiss to start looking at the page. I believe this is the case because I have Ableton open. So I’ll close that and give the tool another try.

Thank you both for the suggestions.
