Unipolar LFO?

Hello,

I suppose the title says it all. Is it possible to get a unipolar LFO on the analog Four (or any other Elektron box by the way…).

I find it very frustrating when you want to control the pitch of an OSC and you can’t keep your root note in place.

Or even on a filter it can be nice in certain settings to have the LFO only push the filter value up from its current value (as oppose to UP/DOWN). Especially for fast rhythmic effects.

Would it be a feature to request to the Elektron team ?
Am I the only one bugged by this ?

Bye

Jesse

I would prefer this , instead of the half -cycled LFO - one shot. It would be mutch more useful for me.

Yes, the half cycle LFO is unipolar but it doesn’t loop :disappointed:

A a couple of new modes would be welcome.
My vote would go for “free uni” and “trig uni”. Same as the free and trig mode, but in a unipolar fashion !

That’s what I mean - I’d prefer it to loop

Indeed - we have an env on the lfo that can fake a one shot if it was an either/or choice, but ideally a second looped unipole lfo would be v.useful addition (the one shot version is useful for drums imo).

With an LFO in RETRIG and changing the phase the Lfo maybe ?

Also would like to see this as well. I recently got my Analog four and that was the VERY FIRST thing I noticed was missing. The LFO section in every other way is brilliant.

Damn, I have a keys on it’s way, and I suddenly thought I’d see if this was a thing. It’s definitely one of the things I spend way too much time trying to work around on my other Elektron instruments. A shame!
