Unexpected Midi behavior A4 Mk2 [resolved]

I have an issue with my A4 in Cubase. In and Outputs are connected to my midi interface.
Playing notes on the Elektron works well but if i turn an encoder for frequency or filter etc. the values jumps unexpected up and down. Settings are send and receive of midi in the A4 also cubase settings should be fine. Whats wrong?

If i disconnect the midi from cubase everything works well. With other maschines i dont have this issue.

Seems like a possible midi loop or some sort of midi echoing back to A4 from Cubase when you turn the knobs… Do you need the knobs on the A4 to send midi CC’s? Seems like they are. If so and you don’t need them to you can try going to the MIDI CONFIG/PORT CONFIG menu on A4 and setting “ENCODER DEST” to “INT” which will stop them from sending midi data and possibly resolve the issue.

Problem solved the Encoder Destination was set to int + ext…set it to internal resolve the issue :slight_smile: Thank you very much Open_Mike <3
