Undeletable sample directory

Hi,
i am having a problem with an old sample directory i made to receive samples. I no longer need this directory and moved samples elsewhere but for an unknown reason i can’t delete it, it keeps telling me Error (not empty?) while being completely emptied. I can’t even rename this directory !
What’s wrong ? What should i do to get rid of this directory ?

Hmm… sounds similar to the problem I got with the “incoming” folder a while back.

I could however not navigate from the incoming folder so I was kind of stuck there and ended up having to reset and clear the +Drive and start over.

Hi

I actually never moved the samples from the incoming folder and just left them there as a sample bank for my own samples. Maybe that´s wrong not to move them from the Incoming folder but at least I don´t have the problem that you a describing.

Yes ringokidf, it can be also a solution to avoid problems… Can be little messy because after a moment you don’t know where the sounds come from. But even if i do like you, i would like to erase this empty directory at the top of all these samples… and i can’t. In fact, i have this empty directory, and after all the samples that should be in the directory instead following it in the list. Strange, anyway for a 1450 € gear not to be able to store samples in folders/directories. May be it’s me…(i’m a new user) but it appears concerning some other people. Wait, try and see

is there any solution to this? I cant delete any of my sample folder always getting the same error!

it seems like I have to delete the samples inside the folder first and delete the folder afterwards. strange, but works!

Allright decided to bit the bullet and wipe the samples off of the +drive and then reload. Turned out pretty sweet in my case.

This is a real pain when it comes to sample management. Such a workflow disruption is very unlike Elektron. I hope they address this in their next firmware update.

Can you rearrange your samples using the recent Transfer app?
