Cv/gate sequencing ms20

Hi Anyone knows why i cant use the keys (transpose) on the ms20mini while cv/gate sequencing from A4? I also sequence a sub phatty the same way and i can play the keys while the sequence is running.

ensure you have a Gate set as S-Trig and pitch as Hz/V and use the correct inputs at the right of the ms patchbay

I’d say it makes more sense (although that’s perfectly fine) to program the range that best replicates how the MS20 is calibrated - via its own keyboard - whilst it’s theoretically the same, the drift either side of the nominal range would make it tricky to set up based on those values if it needed a tweak . The MS keyboard outputs Midi 48 > 84 which is equivalent to C4 > C7 C4 is 1V C5 therefore 2V, C6 therefore 4V C7 is 8V . sure the ratio is theoretically the same (except there’s an o…

also, as mentioned, be sure to raise the levels of the input(s) on the FX track, no need to trig though (if like MKi)
