I’m in dilema - buy this headphones which i heard that they are very good sound quality or monitor pair in the same price range (that will probably be bad sound quality)…
Any expirience with ultrasone connected on machines

That’s really a difficult question. I had Sony 7506, Ultrasone PRO2500, PRO900 and BeyerDynamic Custom one Pro.
I didn’t like the Sony, The 2500 was a surprise and very pleasant for PAN and REVERB… Stereo image was amazing on semi or open headphones…
Today i have a PRO900 and BEYER CUSTOM ONE PRO, i really like the possibility to choose different Bass Event opening, PRO900 is high quality but in all this Super Headphones a headphone amplifier is recommended… i don’t have one but tried and that’s doesn’t sound the same.
To composition, and fast mixing headphones should be ok, but pay attention to audition tired ! 2 hours and it’s dead. at the opposite if you go to monitors, you will have a lot of better sounding in your mixes, PAN and REVERB will be better adjust, less tired… Better sound synthesis design… You can take pleasure with filter and resonance it should be ok, you monitors will take fist in stomach first, when on headphones : the bad go directly in your hears and it’s not cool 
A bit expansive but you can have descent monitors (Prefer Active Monitors), Tanoy, JBL KRK, yamaha is not expensive too, more expansive but FOCAL release ALPHA 50 which is 500euro Pairs … and you can invest in DT770 Beyer later with affordable too
For me start with monitors, you will work longer and better
Plus on machine you don’t have limiter so be careful with sound synthesis and headphones you can really damaged your hears.
But i kept headphones to working night or at the hotel… in travel etc…
PRO900 is 400euro, 100euro more and you get the last FOCAL… Wait a bit and buy a SUB to connect sometimes when designing on Kick, Bass… TO feel your mixes better… at high level …
That’s the best advise i can give you
IF you have a desk room or a room dedicated to music GO TO MONITORS !
