yeah, DT has one processor. But could have been a different one. one never knows. 
whats used elsewhere all the time ? euro modules etc.
atmega or whats the names ? how do the beefy ones compare ?
To clarify, the DT uses the exact same microcontroller.
In a NAMM video, @Ess mentioned that they uses dual processors in this unit because of the performance requirements of what they designed. I assumed this meant that they used two of what’s in the DT, but I wanted to be sure.
FWIW, it’s pretty unusual to use two microcontrolers on the same PCB, because it can be hard to make them talk to eachother reliably and efficiently. I’m wondering how Elektron dealt with this, and how the workload is distributed.

@Ess One more question that might be nice for the AMA; was the original plan for the Digitone to use the exact same main PCB as in the Digitakt?
IIRC the Octatrack has Coldfire MCF54454 with a dual core 56300 Freescale DSP.
