Twisted Electrons gear : any users?

Thanks! I should’ve added the L because I’m definitely not looking to get the old unhoused circuitboard one :0)

Just bought an acid8 MK2 second hand for a very good price, I love their stuff and I will buy more of their products

Wow, my acid8 has arrived, a very good offer, I was thinking replace my TD3 for this machine, but is so different… Get one second hand if you can, is absolute fun, construction perfect and good sound!!! My last acid machine

i still have an old micro acid 8 laying around, the one that looks like a pocket operator.
somehow the sequencer doesn’t start, i think that’s because it is in a sync-mode somehow, waiting for an external clock. does anybody know how to change sync modes? can’t find a manual or any other hint on google.

ive been listening to alot of MegaFM demos lately and some patches are really WOW!
it sounds like its a subtractive synth at times, which is really cool imo.

According the manual pressing run will fix that, but I’m sure that you have pressed run

‘Acid8 locks to incoming midi clock. When midi clock is received, the tempo
functions are overridden until a stop message is received or run is pressed’

Can you run external clock to check? It says too that it needs a stop external message…

MegaFM is awesome, sounds different and has a lot of personality. And the build quality is great too

i am talking about the micro acid8, the one on the bare PCB. it doesn’t have midi. just sync via 3.5mm splitter-cables.

Did you buy it back then? I wonder what’s your experience with it.

Ahhh ok, then it might be what you say. Can you try to run external sync from another machine?

And testing some synth drums and the resonance
