Turnado not receiving Program Change!

I’m having problems with Turnado (in Ableton 11, on Mac).

I want it to do two things:

  1. Receive Program Changes

  2. Send MIDI out when knobs are moved

For some reason, if I load Turnado as an AU, it receives PC fine, but the knobs don’t send MIDI (I think this is expected because of limitations of AU?).

So I tried to use the VST3 version instead.

The VST3 version sends MIDI out beautifully (allowing my TouchOSC to update etc), however it won’t respond to PC to allow me select presets remotely.

I do of course have ‘Ignore Program Change’ turned off.

I’m running the latest version of Turnado, 1.7.5.

Can anyone confirm for sure that their Turnado responds to incoming PC, and also sends outgoing CC when moving knobs or Dictator etc?

SOLVED!

In case this helps anyone in future, I solved this.

The problem lies in Abletons inability to correctly handle PC for some VST3 plugins.

The solution: use Turnado VST (not VST3 or AU).

Works perfectly!
