It was about time. Ace!
Listening for breakfast now.
What a blast – beginning to end. ![]()
Favourite tracks: Electrocaps, Stitching Pony, and Typhon Expanse Loop.
The whole production has a very nice feel to it. It sounds very joyful. And full of love for meticulously carved sounds. A lot to learn for me here. In a very good way. ![]()
Fuck yeah…
Insta-buy.
Stoked to blast it driving to work tmrw morning.
All im hearing as yet is fucking killer.
Well done
This is a massive step up from the last album (which was already banging).
That bassline on bunk face…
It’s pure fucking braindance mate, you’ve fucking cracked it!
But it’s still very much you.
Absolutely (and I mean this very sincerely) banging!
Fucking. Ripper
@B_LD thank you very much.
@Fin25 thank you, you words mean a lot. Thank you so much, and thank you for the support ![]()
@ViolentMeals thank you for the support, I know youve been waiting for this one ![]()
@CountedSorrow thank you for the support.
This wasnt an easy project to finish. I’m torn on sharing why, I’ve always wanted my music to be judged on its own merit. So I think I’ll keep things to my self, enjoy the tunes folks. I had an absolute belter making them. Im very lucky to have such a great collection of old and new instruments to play with. And time to do it.
Not to get too gushy, but I really wouldn’t have made this, and the previous 2 albums were it not for encouragement from you lot. So thank you.
Are these all live jams then? Not that it matters, the music sounds great.
Very well rehearsed, but yes. All live. Its the only way I make music.
I’m going to bookmark this for when I can play it loud and with the subs turned up to shake mirrors and windows in other rooms.
Fantastic stuff - thanks for sharing!
Congrats Mike
From a quick listening is very satisfying. Nice and fresh. Really banging
Great stuff! Listened on my commute in the morning and going to listen again in the evening at home.
Edit. Favorites: Typhon expance loop, Electrocaps, Cliffs of Quince
Favorite was the title track. Congrats, real nice release.
Was worth the wait, as they say.
One thing that’s really standing out to me on this one your drum programming. It’s evident that you actually play the drum set as so much of your phrasing is something that one would absolutely play from behind a kit. I love the flammed phrasing on the toms in your fills, or you’ll end a phrase with a snare hit on the two with a flam on it and let the bar play out in a nice BREAK!.
Always crisp and clean as fuck, great mix.
Stellar work.
Splendid work and great melodies in there, opening track was fab, really buzzed me up for getting creative again!
Congrats on the release @Microtribe !
Some bits of the Tracks plunged me right back in my 80s. The Cure (the first notes of the opening Track), Breakdance (Bunk face), …
So, it’s not to say that I really like the release. Excellent and clear mixes. Great choice of Sounds all over the Album. Like @ViolentMeals said, the Drums are made by a real drummer and I love the rythmical Patterns you came up with. Thanks for the quality release!
Why, how, what.
Yeah this is great, thanks, so many great sounds just like on your Current sounds contributions but made into proper tracks, ace! The title track is my highlight

Thank you. Im glad someone noticed ![]()
Thank you, again I’m glad they caught your attention ![]()
Thanks for the kind words. I can answer your question, its a long answer… you sure you want that?
Thank you so much
This is very cool stuff.
Curious, did you use TR8S for the 808/909 sounds? I have a 6S and have been disappointed by its raw sound but your drums sound ![]()
I most certainly did.
All the drum sounds are stock TR8-S. All drum processing is done 100% in the TR8-S.
There are some percussive loops in some tracks, those are sampled from the TR8-S and fiddled with in Octatrack.
