This is a moment I’m looking how to play triplets on a single track with my A4
I try with the pattern arpegiattor & lenght but there’s always a note that adds after a moment.
I searched the forum and the answers are not obvious.
Someone can you help me?
Choose a short sound like a hi-hat
Clear track, 1 trig on 1, on note page lock len to 16
arp on
There are 96 ticks per bar
to get 16ths 96/16 = 6
so if you set arp speed to 6 you get 1/16ths
to get triplets you may want 12 per bar
96/12 = 8
set arp speed to 8 and you’ll now have triplets
if you want a faster triplet, choose 4
.
if you wanted to get adventurous you could use micro timing to nudge 12 regular trigs into position - or do something with an lfo at the right rate to give a triplet feel
