Trigless Trigs overwrite PB plocks of Sample-Trig?

Following Scenario:

A Stem is loaded in static machine with 64 slices, slice is on

Trig is set on step 1 with a Trig Condition 1st
Trig Playback is plocked to Slice 26 and Length is plocked to 8 -
It plays Slice 26 and continues to the following 7 slices before it loops back to slice 26.

This works as expected, until I place trigless trigs in the pattern. Then the track only plays slice 26 and loops it.

Default Length of the Playback is set to 1 and it seems that the trigless trigs are using this value and therefore overwrite any plocks from trig on step 1.

Interestingly, the problem only occurs with trigless trigs, but not when I convert them into trigless locks. No Plocks are set in the Trigless Trigs.

As far as I know, the Trigless Trigs additionally trigger only the FX envelopes and LFOs. I have LFO modulations active, but they only affect the effects, not the playback parameters.

Can anyone confirm that this is normal behaviour? I’ve already spent a few hours trying to solve this “problem”.

OT MK I latest firmware

ok i think i got it.

it seems that trigless trigs also trig the playback settings and therefore any plocks set before the trigless trig will be ignored/overwritten

the manual could be corrected as it is not clearly explained.

Apparently Trigless trigs trigger/recall default values of any page if previous trig is plocked with a different value.

Trigless locks don’t.
