this is the third (and last) time I will ask you to clear this up

Is the Lock Trig showing a parameter lock on the note value ? or is it just 0 because 0 is actually the default, if it is not locked (inverted) to 0 then it won’t(shouldn’t) affect pitch - if it is locked, then there is something about your process or OS that is creating that glitch, it should not lock pitch when you only lock frequency

so you tried the suggestion to lock a high frequency so the freq barely modulates, but is locked ?

Perhaps you are hearing a glitch but it is not clear given your misuse of terminology - there are empty trigs, these are unlit, you are describing a Lock Trig, which is a parameter locked Trig

I can assure you given your thrice repeated instructions I do not see parameter locked notes on the lock trigs

Try to replicate this in a new project

So, New Project
Select DVCO for T1
enter step mode
place a Trig on 1 and one on 9
lock the note value (press trig page, hold Trig1 down and twist knob to get +19, set Trig9 to+22)

Hit SRC page, set balance fully counterclockwise
set both decays very high

now if you press play you will hear two high pitch droning notes which take 8 steps each and repeats

no from this starting point, live record filter tweaks for a bar or two ensuring they cover the whole bar, but keep those tweaks in the upper range above 100 (as I said before)

Now if you go back to step edit mode you will see two red trigs and 14 yellow usually

If you press/hold Trig 1 whilst in step edit mode with the Trig page active, you will see +19 as black text in an inverted white square - that’s a lock

if you press any yellow Trig next you will not see a white square above NOT, it will be normal white text on black, this ain’t a lock, this is just the default

That is what should happen

If that is not happening, then you have some other process or connection at play during your programming

when I play this back it is still audibly only two pitches with minor blips to the filter where the cutoff dulls the spectrum a bit, but the raw note has NOT been reconfigured

What do you see on the TRIG page for your case and also my step by step example from a new project ?

To make things much easier to hear, select trigs 2345 and lock the filter at 127, do the same for all the yellow trigs, you can do so with multiple yellow ones held down

Now there won’t be any blips in perceived brightness and there should be only two high drones heard, nothing being pulled down nearly two octaves

Are you testing with nothing else connected ??
