Triggering FLEX recorder with QREC Track TRIG keys not working?

I’m trying to manually trigger my flex track to start the recording process by hitting one of the last TRIG keys, like it says in the manual… but its not starting the recorder, I still have to hit track + yes.

I wanna do this:
"QPL makes it possible to quantize manual trigging of the recorder buffers and Pickup machines. Manual trigging is done by for example pressing [TRACK] + [PLAY] -----------> or the last eight [TRIG] keys. " <-----------

No worky, why?

…not trigging recording process.

Hit last 8 [TRIG] keys to play what you already recorded.

dang, yeah I just realized that. Moving on to quick record mode and I cant seem to get that to work either. HMMM will keep investigating I guess. I just dont wanna have to push 2 buttons to arm my record tracks
