Would it be possible to play slices with velocity from an push 3 standalone? Or an mpc live? Are they able to send the right midi cc messages or would it need something like the mentioned cable for that?
LaunchPad Pro should be able to do it with the right script. @qlamerand may shime in…
Once again it is easy to program with most of midi processors…
Does this work via usb too or do u need to use the midi in?
No, OT USB is just for storage ( CF Card). No midi/audio.

Thanks for the fast reply. Very good to know i got a ot on the way and probably wanna do some fingerdrumming and play samplechops so maybe i gonna get a cheap midipad or try to use the midi contol mode on my live 2. Are u using a midi controller or keyboard for that kind of stuff?
I used a Taktile 49, having pads, with an Event Processor Plus as midi processor.
Now I have an HPD20 so I may use it when I’ll have time…
