Hi. I want Rytm to start playing in sync when pressing play in Reason. Is this possible? When writing in notes Reason triggers Rytm pads - but I also want the Rytm to start playing the internal sequenser. It this possible? In Global/Midi Config/Midi Sync I have checked Clock Receive and Transport Receive. Thanks

It does not. Dont understand why.
Which version of Reason are you using? (Apparently MIDI Out was not available before Reason 7.)
Reason 7+ is great with midi sync!
Turn on the AR and plug it into the pc before switching on Reason.
In Reason Preferences make sure you have sync out set to AR or Overbridge or whatever name it has in the system.
Then go into Options (yes there is both a preferences and an options…)
and set it to “send midi clock”
Just to clarify the “Options” is a dropdown menu on the main taskbar. not inside preferences. Why Propellerhead? and why have midi sync options in 2 places? anyway once you’ve done this it will work until the next time you open up reason. where you have to set tthe options menu again. for some reason it resets… i know…

Doedshammeren, this saved my day. It was the Sync/Send Midi Clock that was not checked. i wasn’t aware of that. Thanks a lot! What a great forum!
