Trig Track Midi Out

Hi guys
Do I understand correctly that there is no way to configure octatrack to send out trig track event programmed in the grid? When I trig track manually, there is a midi out event (as per manual), but none from the grid

Apparently it doesn’t send sequenced notes.
We tried with @matB a few weeks ago, without success, except in chromatic mode.

I wish it could send notes too, for Vjing.

MIDI notes out from audio?

Hi guys! I think I have an issue with my OT but not really sure about that. So I basically need my audio tracks to send MIDI messages to MIDI out. I turned on the AUDIO CC OUT and AUDIO NOTE OUT. I set the CHANNELS in Progect menu to 9 - 16. So when I hit TRIG keys (9-16) manually - they actually send MIDI messages to the corresponding MIDI channel. But when I hit the play button and audio samples start to play (they way I sequenced them) they DO NOT produce any MIDI messages. Any ideas why?…

I can see it would be convenient, but I think it would also be a bit strange from a design point of view, to send out midi messages from an audio track when the sequencer also has dedicated midi tracks.

You could try doubling up your audio trigs on midi channels maybe? A bit of a PITA to do but the only way as far as I can see…

I see nothing strange:

1. it already sends midi event on manul track trig
2. there is the special setting in setup/midi menu for this
