Hey all,

I’ve run into something that I can’t figure out. I’ve got a long sample that I’m playing through a 64 scale pattern, the conditional trig on the sample is that it plays 1/8th of the time, so basically I can make it through the pattern 8 times without it retriggering.

The problem is that when it retrigs (on the 9th loop), it doesn’t trig with the amp envelope ramp, it trigs immediately, while on the 1st loop it ramps in … I’m sure I’m missing something, appreciate any help. Troubleshooting on this long of a loop is … tedious.

I haven’t tested what you’re reporting, but one thing comes to mind. Have you looked into the different envelope trigger modes in AMP settings? To get there you can double-press the AMP button.

From the manual:

AMP controls the behavior of the amplitude envelope.

• ANLG will make the envelope attack start from the current envelope level when a sample is
trigged.

• RTRG will make the amplitude envelope start from zero every time a sample is being trigged.

• R+T will make the amplitude envelope start from zero every time a sample trig or a trigless trig is
activated by the sequencer.

• TTRG will make the envelope attack start from the current envelope level when a sample or a
trigless trig is activated.

Is it possible one of these settings could change the behavior?

As above. You probably want R+T to match your 1:8 condition.
