So I have 2 tracks. Track 8 has trig’s on all steps and a NOT NEI condition on all. Track 7 has trig’s on some steps. I’ve placed a trigless trig with a 100% condition on the steps before something plays on track 7 and another one right after with a 1% condition. Now track 8 mutes when track 7 plays. So far so good.
Now for the tricky bit: if track 7 is muted, I’d expect track 8 to just play. Unfortunately, it seems the conditions on track 7 are still evaluated, even if it is muted.
So, back to the drawing board. I want to be able to toggle track 7 on and off and have track 8 muted whenever something on 7 plays. FILL won’t help me as that’s momentary. Any ideas? I’d like to keep it on 1 pattern, as DT1 has no performance kits.
