I am looking at hard cases with foam cutouts. Does anyone use these? The reason I need a hard case is I work for CSX and we travel in a truck from hotel to hotel, and people put their bags together. All it would take is one jerk not looking out for a non hard case and there goes my A4.
I am hoping some of you could recommend a not so expensive alternative. I have the Pelican case in my cart, but at 150, kindof puts me off.
but pelicase is one of the most reliable…here we use to say: “you eat what you spend”
on bblist.co.uk you can find used and cheap ones…sometimes with no foam at all…but that is possible to buy separately.
Saying “used” I mean something really bad at looking, since it is quite uncommon to ruin or destroy…
I use the Rockcase RC by Warwick. It is a proper flight case, very sturdy. It is meant for guitar pedals with a removable lid and velcro on the bottom part which I use for all my synth and sampler stuff. If you just need it to carry the A4 you’d have to do some diy work with some foam. The small version is only 100€ though and it might even fit 2 A4s. I don’t think you can find a flight case for cheaper than that.
