Travel cases for Tonverk?

Looking for a good third party case.

For my Octatrack I have a mini projector case that’s rigid - somewhere between a soft and hard-case, with some interior soft lining. From Amazon, was maybe 20€.

It’s a little bit too big for the Tonverk though and I’m looking for something that snugly fits TV, Decksaver, and a little room for accessories (USB cable, power supply, and a PD power bank.)

Anyone have links to some reasonably cheap ones? I’ll also start looking and we can post our results in this thread. (TV Dimensions are 286 × 176 × 63mm.)

Wow, great find. Is it possible/necessary to remove the foam insert?

BTW, here is the german link:

Not possible, but you can cut it (not really foam btw, semi-hard stucture)

I think I will keep it. Possible to put the PSU, I may cut some parts in the middle in order to insert cables / adapters…

Geekria Audio Interface Carrying Case, Compatible with Elektron Tonverk, EVA Hard Shell Travel Bag (Dark Gray) : Amazon.ca: Musical Instruments, Stage & Studio? I got this one, fits the tonverk and decksaver no problem

I was just going to roll with decksaver + elastic bands for an upcoming trip but this looks better, thanks!

I use this case made for the Digis. I already had it from the DNII and I never travel with both machines. So I remove the foam and the Tonverk fits perfectly with the decksaver and an iPad that I use as a controller.

I bought the GEEKRIA one from Amazon. Fits Tonverk + a USB-C cable + PSU perfectly. Survived a trip abroad without damage.

Those dimensions put it in an awkward middle ground where standard synth cases are either slightly too small or way too generous. Pelican 1450 or the cheaper Monoprice knockoff versions could work with custom foam cut to fit, which is extra effort but gives you proper protection for travel. The Apache cases from Harbor Freight are another option people use for oddly sized gear since they come with pluck foam and land somewhere around that same price range as your projector case solution.

I ended up with this, cut out the foam divider and it’s very snug fitting in all dimensions. Just enough vertical space to zip up the lid with PL-5 lid (it’s a hold down and zip affair.)

Definitely not going in the hold in another suitcase but perfect for cabin luggage:

I am using one for the SP-404. With the Decksaver on it’s snug and doesn’t move.

Is there still room for the PSU?

No, you can put a USB-C cable in the top sleeve

I’d say not. This, to be fair, is me stashing it off desk, so the PSU is always plugged in when I come to it. There is a top compartment though, but with the Decksaver it’s tight on space.

I’ve just bought this one, now £15. Hasn’t arrived yet, but it seems to be better than other Switch 2 cases, the compartment are removable.
