Transpose thingy going on with cv

Can someone please explain to me why, when i connect via cv, (miniatuar or mini brute) the keys on the A4 play whatever key i press on the other keyboard? Its like a transpose, i guess. Am new to cv and Elektron in general, three months into it and loving it. Could run from the MD with a midi track but already have others on that path.
Also, can i control mini brute vcf via 1/4 to 1/8 unbalanced from cv-c/d with maybe p-locks?
Haven’t tried it yet, so, while I’m typing, thought id ask.

Do you mean that you want to play minitaur (connected to A4 via CV) using external keyboard connected via midi? And now, when you press any key on external keyboard you hear sound only from A4? Am I right? Do you hear sound from Minitaur when you play from integrated keyboard with selected CV track?
If yes, check midi channels in global menu of A4. Default CV channel is 6. Set your midi keyboard to send midi to port 6. Another way – set your midi keyboard to send midi data to global port (port 9 by default, check in midi ports setting of global menu of A4) – in this case you will be able to play sounds from any of selected track in A4 including CV.

There is a good guide linked here that’ll help you out. It’s no bother plocking VCF on mini brute with the right cable. Search forum for lots of posts on that topic. Cv guide here … http://www.elektronauts.com/t/could-use-a-hand-properly-setting-up-cv-control/709/4070/page:1#4070
