Transpose lock like A4 on midi and samples?

Is this possible with octatrack? Or eather one could work as well

My set up is one Minitaur and one Mono Lancet connected via midi and audio in to OT.

I would like to transpose their midi trigs globally on their repective tracks live and manually is that possible?

And ofcourse the sampled sound must follow the transpose on the traks i choose.

Possible or not? Or to a degree?

I’d say possible to a degree if you use the arpeggiator, which has a CC for transposition (#22). It’ll mess up your trig lengths, though so it’s probably not worth it. Also I think it will “forget” this setting every time you change patterns so you’ll have to re-send it, which would be awkward live.

If I remember correctly (haven’t used it in a while) there’s also a MIDI track transpose in the arranger.

ok thanks, i´ll look into the midi transpose in arranger tonight,

I sort of solved it my self by just changing pattern and p-locking the second pattern with the new tone, but then a other problem presented it self, it changed pattern after 4 bars and not when i Pressed Pattern a2

I tried to figure that out last night but couldent find where to make pattern change from a1 to a2 when I choose.

It would be neat if the A4 could somehow make the octatrack transpose live, like u can do on The keyboard on A4, (sometime i wish i had 4 arms)

A static LFO is needed for transpose on the audio side; unless, you route the midi out to the in and use the midi arp.

I prefer a static LFO for transpose on the midi side as well.

P-lock LFO depth for transpose lock.
