Transition trick phase problems

Hi, this is my first post in the forum. I have a problem when doing the transition trick with the crossfader, the recorded loop and the live sound turns flangered when i put the fader on the middle zone and its imposible to do a slow transition between… Any ideas? Cut the lows using EQ or Filter doesnt work :frowning:

https://youtu.be/ZBANTG8lWVw Project downloaded and the same problem … Im using Octa and Analog Rytm…

If i use two loops instead of one loop and the Rytm the transition works fine…

who is the master in this setup. If it is the AR, try to use the OT as master…

I will try again with the OT as master , thx…Maybe with the microtiming i can sync the loop better…

I think the cause might be that the output of the AR is not consistent. Not that each cycle of the loop wouldn’t sound the same to a human, but it’s not a sample accurate reproduction, like a sampled loop is.

Good point! Im using a mixer i will try without it…mainout of the Rytm directly to the ins of the OT… Thx.a lot!

Do you have delay compensation enabled?

OT as a Master, Turbo Midi On and no mixer used: Same problem… Anybody with OT and Rytm had this problem or it is just me?

Delay compensation is ON

Solved! The problem with phase its only with patterns (Rytm) with the same percusion samples no problem with different ones. Thx a lot for the replies!

I reckon a little bump on the overdrive knob here and there on shared samples will remedy that.
Glad it has been solved!

Yes!! Some modifications on BD and SD does the job.
