Transferring sounds, patterns and kits across projects

Hi

Apologies if this is a repetitive subject but I’ve read the manual and a few threads and am still struggling to get my head around it.

So, I’ve had my A4 for a month or so and have pretty much been creating different projects outside the +Drive each time i start something new.

I now have a good handful of different pieces of music I’m happy with, using different sounds etc, but they are all in different projects.

I’m wanting to experiment with them in a live setting and was hoping there’s a way I can transfer each piece of music from each project into one ‘master’ project and onto different kits so i can flit between them? I’d obviously need the patterns and trigs copying as well if possible. I don’t know if this is making any sense and but any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,
The only way I know to achieve that is to copy every pattern one by one = open the project you want to copy from > copy 1 pattern > load the project you want to copy to > paste 1 pattern into that project > Save project > Open the first project again > Copy the second pattern … and so on … . Maybe there’s another way with Overbridge - but I don’t use that.

This can be done for almost all pages an settings - but prepared to spend some time …

So I’m guessing that applies to sounds as well then?

I’m struggling to get my head around the kit, pattern, sound relationship tbh!
