Can someone please help me and indicate what the problem is.
I am using OS1.02 and Elektron Transfer app. I was trying to transfer long samples ( ~40mb, 16 bit, 48kHz), but unfortunately received message “Failed to copy file”. Can someone share some light on what the nature of this issue is? Do I need to make any specific configuration in Digitakt? I thought that it is possible to upload files under 64mb, you can only sample files up to 33secs.
This is urgent case, need to sort it asap. Thanx for any help!
I just transferred a shedload of samples, some of them quite large. Didn’t encounter any problems. Have you tried editing the sample and loading it again? In theory you should be able to transfer any size to the DT.
The limit is in the playback/ram. It can’t load anything above 64mb into the memory. You should be able to transfer a 500mb file, but won’t be able to load it. You should also be able to transfer a 50mb file and be able to load it.
When trying to copy a 500mb file using the transfer tool it tells me the file is too big.
A 55mb file transferred completely and then gave me a failed message a few seconds after the transfer was completed.
A 25mb file transferred properly. Not being able to load the 55mb file is most likely a bug.
It seems the DT is processing the upload for a while and then the transfer app says failed to transfer when the DT couldn’t process it.
I used the same file cut in smaller pieces.
The transfer rate is pretty disappointing at 0.25mb/s max. It should go much faster if this is really usb 2.0. I don’t use hubs and my laptop has usb3 so that shouldn’t be an issue.
Yes the same message I did receive. The transfering completed, then after 5sec the failure message popped up.
Oh, what a dissapointment. I’ll try to upload 30-40mb files.
