Track 1 Notes causing Track 2 to silence?

Ive been doing a track one one track that is playing nicely but when I goto play another note on another track it silences the first tracks notes.

A bit like hi-hats on a Roland TR909 etc.

But its stopping me playing any notes on the same step.

Can anyone help pls?

ps im in advanced mode

ive figured it out!

I had changed the poly mode to all 4 voices and not changed it back! oops
